A fixed laser marking system does its job well, as long as the part fits on the worktable and the job happens indoors. U-JET built the YLB500H for those cases: the handheld laser marking machine weighs 1.1 kg, runs on an internal battery, and needs no external computer, so marking happens wherever the part already is.

At 1.1 kg, the YLB500H portable laser marker fits in a tool bag. The compact, ergonomic body is designed for single-handed operation over long shifts. In practice, an operator walks up to a heavy machinery nameplate, an installed component, or an outdoor pipe batch and marks it in place. The part never travels to a stationary machine.

5-Inch Touch Screen, No PC Required

The unit carries its own operating system on a 5-inch capacitive touch screen. Text, serial numbers, QR codes, logos, and graphics are edited on the screen itself. There is no separate controller to set up. The interface works like a smartphone, and parameter changes preview before marking begins, so new staff typically need only minimal training.

All-Day Battery

A high-capacity lithium battery gives the YLB500H 12 hours of standby time and 3–5 hours of continuous marking. That covers a full shift of production, inspection rounds, or field service in areas where power outlets are not available. No cord, no generator.

5W Semiconductor Laser, Wide Material Range

The 5W semiconductor laser diode runs stable and maintenance-free. It marks metals, stainless steel, hard plastics, wood, glass, leather, rubber, cardboard, and painted surfaces. The marks are permanent and high-contrast, they resist wear and corrosion, and they hold up under traceability, anti-counterfeiting, and compliance requirements.

Early User Feedback

The first customers are already reporting workflow changes. One user said his team used to haul heavy parts to a stationary marker; now they carry the YLB500H to the work area, and their marking efficiency has more than doubled. Another replaced several dedicated markers with this single unit and cut both equipment and maintenance costs.

Two customer delegations visited U‑JET's Shanghai headquarters last week, one from Brazil and one from Colombia. Both work in automation integration. During the factory tour they saw a live demo of the YV300 Smartcam, the company's industrial vision camera.

The demo covered high-speed image processing, OCR, and real-time material tracking. Afterwards, both groups sat down with the R&D team for technical discussions and asked for pilot units to test on their own production lines.

The YV300 is built for harsh production environments. It comes with multiple I/O interfaces, speaks Modbus and EtherNet/IP, has a built-in wireless module for remote monitoring, and is housed in an IP65-rated enclosure.

"The customers from Brazil and Colombia were most interested in the built-in PLC logic and the HDMI debugging port — both save real time during integration and maintenance," said a U‑JET sales director. Initial orders are expected to close within the next quarter.

A packaging industry customer from Thailand recently paid a special visit to our facility for an in-depth inspection of our inkjet coding equipment. The connection was first made at this year’s Propak Thailand exhibition, where the customer showed keen interest in our coding machines on display. Taking the opportunity of a business trip to China, they arranged a factory visit to gain deeper insight into the equipment’s performance and manufacturing capabilities.

During the visit, the customer toured the assembly and testing workshops, observing the core components and production processes up close. Our technical team provided live demonstrations and detailed explanations, addressing the customer’s specific concerns regarding printing speed, ink system stability, and compatibility with various substrates. As the sample machine operated at high speed on a simulated production line, the printed barcodes and characters remained crisp and sharp, leaving a strong impression.

In the subsequent technical discussion, both parties explored topics such as coding requirements for food and beverage packaging lines and smart data integration. The customer highly praised the overall performance of the coding equipment and the customized solutions offered, noting that the on-site visit exceeded expectations and strengthened their confidence in future cooperation.

This return visit not only deepened the customer’s trust in our R&D and manufacturing strength but also laid a solid foundation for further expansion into the Thai market.

U-JET, a manufacturer of CIJ (continuous inkjet) coding machines, has completed a business trip to Russia focused exclusively on visiting clients across the country.

The U-JET team traveled to meet key customers in the food, beverage and pharmaceutical sectors, providing on-site technical support and maintenance guidance for their CIJ coding equipment.
