U-JET Launches YLB500H Handheld Laser Marking Machine — 1.1 kg Body, 5-Inch Touch Screen, Battery Power for On-Site Marking
A fixed laser marking system does its job well, as long as the part fits on the worktable and the job happens indoors. Large workpieces, outdoor pipe batches, and urgent re-work break that assumption. U-JET built the YLB500H for those cases: the handheld laser marking machine weighs 1.1 kg, runs on an internal battery, and needs no external computer, so marking happens wherever the part already is.
Ultra-Light, Easy to Carry
At 1.1 kg, the YLB500H portable laser marker fits in a tool bag. The compact, ergonomic body is designed for single-handed operation over long shifts. In practice, an operator walks up to a heavy machinery nameplate, an installed component, or an outdoor pipe batch and marks it in place. The part never travels to a stationary machine.
5-Inch Touch Screen, No PC Required
The unit carries its own operating system on a 5-inch capacitive touch screen. Text, serial numbers, QR codes, logos, and graphics are edited on the screen itself. There is no separate controller to set up. The interface works like a smartphone, and parameter changes preview before marking begins, so new staff typically need only minimal training.
All-Day Battery
A high-capacity lithium battery gives the YLB500H 12 hours of standby time and 3–5 hours of continuous marking. That covers a full shift of production, inspection rounds, or field service in areas where power outlets are not available. No cord, no generator.
5W Semiconductor Laser, Wide Material Range
The 5W semiconductor laser diode runs stable and maintenance-free. It marks metals, stainless steel, hard plastics, wood, glass, leather, rubber, cardboard, and painted surfaces. The marks are permanent and high-contrast, they resist wear and corrosion, and they hold up under traceability, anti-counterfeiting, and compliance requirements.
Early User Feedback
The first customers are already reporting workflow changes. One user said his team used to haul heavy parts to a stationary marker; now they carry the YLB500H to the work area, and their marking efficiency has more than doubled.
